1st time to LA, toddler in tow

We will be visiting LA for the first time next week, staying in Valley Village area. Please recommend some delicious restaurants in adjacent areas that either have carry-out or are casual enough to take a toddler to. Open to any suggestions, but husband is not wild about fish. Many tks.

  1. I was going to recommend Mishima but it seems they have changed to Takamaru! I always noticed their children's items which came in a choice of race car, rocket ship or kitty serving dishes. They are awesome! Is Japanese food but not sushi. They have complimentary barley tea that is delicious and their tofu salad is soft creamy and crave able. I hear the menu is the same with the addition of some dishes. This place is by the Beverly Center on Third St just east of La Cienega. The Farmers market down the street is also great for toddlers....something for everyone in a food court/market situation. Dancing waters at the mall....
