re My Fit Foods on Wilshire and Barrington?

  1. Just tried it once but was not that impressed. Packaged to seem (maybe is) healthy and then you microwave it there? Kind of like fresh and easy with a micro wave.

    1. i've never been there, but just to clarify:

      are you saying that they are microwaving food in plastic containers/wrappers and then selling the food as being "healthful?"

        Yes. They have a wide selection of breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack items in a refrigerator in plastic wrap. The ingredients are lean and healthy looking. You purchase at the cash register and then take it to a microwave to heat and eat. Only tried it once, but was not real impressed - although not a bad cafeteria alternative. In the area and same price range, I prefer Trimana Grill or take out at Whole Foods.

      2. This is in the same small complex as the old VIP Seafood on the second floor. Fit Foods is on the ground floor to the right. Used to be a place for toddler parties? What tees me off about that complex is they charge for parking, or at least they used to.
