Am I *really* THAT out-of-touch? Does anyone drink this?

Does anyone think it will sell???

  1. I'm sure it will, yes.
The times I have ridiculed the gun and skull shaped bottle crap at the liquor store I have been informed by employees that they are huge sellers. People are morons. Marketing works.

I believe you, but those sorts of bottles have *never* sold well in the retail stores in which I've worked . . . then again, I've worked in retail stores primarily in the greater Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay areas so perhaps that might explain it . . . the only "gimmicky" bottles that sold well in my 40 years of experience were those 5.0L, really, really tall (like 36"), thin-necked bottles of Italian red . . .

You should see what they sell @ the booze shops in Brighton Beach aka Russkyville, poenis bottles,ak47 bottles, crazy...

Heh. The skull one isn't half bad. A tad overpriced but not in ridiculous territory, at least at my local. I like Tito's myself.

They have little tiny mini-skulls of vodka on the front counter at my local liquor store, and I have to admit, I was tempted to buy one, just because they were cute.

I would like an empty skull bottle for my daughter if anyone wants to send one to me ;)

Actually, I'd like to decant Campari into one and keep it on display in the kitchen. That would be pretty cool for Dia de los Muertos.

I did buy a couple of the clear vodka skulls a few years back for holiday gifts. They were adorable. Lol, E-Dan, I'd send you ours but the hubby is very attached to it. :)

I'm actually kinda irritated that they spelled 'recipes' wrong on the website. Twice. Maybe they asked the bimbos to spellcheck after the shoot?

              1. re: DuchessNukem

And they misspelled it differently each time - recipies, recepies.

I'm not sure if this is the same, however Crystal Head Vodka, in a "life size" glass skull bottle is actually Dan Akroyd's venture into the vodka industry. I've never personally had it, but I've heard good things about it.

(ok after watching that video maybe they aren't "lifesize")

Yes, these were Crystal Head miniatures.

Well pick up a few and give me your address for Halloween and I'll be sure to knock on your door!!

          2. It's only distilled 6 times, so I won't touch it. Ha!

Or at least offer another offering that's distilled 9 times. Non creative marketing people

You probably have your security settings very high, there definitely seems to be some active scripting on the page which can trigger false alerts, but I haven't gotten any messages.
