Abri Reservation Tips.

What is the best time to call?

I've been trying for the last two days at various times and not once have they picked up.

I need a dinner reservation for May 16 for two, but no luck.

  1. I'd say don't bother, go to Sola instead.

    1. This is craziness, I called again this morning at 8am, which is 2pm Paris time, no answer. Just tried again now, 4pm Paris time, again no answer.

Do they screen calls since I'm calling from Canada? I got throught to Pirouette on my first try and got a reservation.

I am starting to loss hope. Perhaps I have to call earlier. I figure the time between 3:30 to 6:00 would be good, but no dice.

I agree as always with Pti, why drive yourself nuts. They never answer the phone and when they do they mangle your name - i love the place but go to Sola.

The very small restaurant has a skeleton crew. When you call at 2pm, it is in the middle of a meal time, and everyone is too busy. When you call at 4pm, it is in the middle of 2 meal services. Again, no one will be around to answer.
I always call shortly before a meal service, to ensure someone is around, which means noontime or 7pm Paris time. I have not had problem reserving.

        2. Sola looks and sounds great, but its way beyond my budget. Abri's dinner menu price was perfect for us and I was looking forward to it.

Oh well, more research for me to do now.

          Thanks guys!

Everyone here is a dinner person, except for you John!

So that's why I don't hear English unless I'm talking to myself.
