My mom says they used to use it in fattoush in her native Egypt. Does anyone know where i can find some? Looks interesting, sour, salty taste.

I think it's a bit out of season.
Last year I got some from the herb guy at Jean-Talon Market in july.
I used it in a pasta dish.
Gardens and lawns if you're up for foraging.
The real fattouch doesn't have any lettuce at all. It's all purslane. They sometimes carry it at the Adonis on Sauvé, but it depends on the season.
