Late Night Eating in Bellevue

  • 19
  • Share

I am doing a figure competition in Bellevue May 3rd. The night doesn't start until 7pm so I am guessing I won't be able to go get some grub until at least 10pm. Where is there to eat that is super yummy and not a chain in Bellevue or close by around 10pm or later on a Friday night? I love all kinds of foods, and will be breaking a long and strict diet, so things like meaty, cheesy, noodlely, salty, or spicey would be great. I love ethnic food or good ole' down home cooking as well.

Thanks!

Just a tip, IMO it would be a little better to revive the old thread with a fresh comment, rather than getting everyone starting from scratch and making similar suggestions to those you have already have received.

    2. Bellevue doesn't have a whole lot of great late night options, so unless you're going with bar food, you're really looking for pretty good food that's still serving at 10:30 or later.

Black Bottle serves food late and I think they'd be a pretty good option. And while it's not my favorite, Daniel's is open late on weekend's and I believe they may even do their late night happy hour.

      1. Will you be downtown? If so, check to see how late Din Tai Fung, Facing East and Bamboo Garden (here's your spicy) are open. None may be open late, but those are my go to downtown Bellevue places.

        1. Re-Opening this post because I am doing the same competition this year, I was wondering if ya'll knew of any places open for sushi that are open to at least 11PM maybe later on a Friday night in Bellevue, Thanks!!!!

Hello again. I checked the hours of all the places I know in Bellevue, and sadly none of them are open after 10. If you can make the short ride across the lake, I know that Momiji on Capitol Hill stays open until 2 am.

Sorry I couldn't come up with anything closer, hopefully another hound still might. Best of luck in the competition.

I saw that Kobe Fusion Asian Restaurant is open until 11PM, thoughts?

                Haven't tried it.

                1. re: Rachael5000

I drive by it every morning, and it looks like it caters to the tourist / convention crowd. The menu that they hang outside doesn't seem like anything exciting or inspiring.

            2. Boiling Point features Taiwanese hotpot and is open until 11pm.

Taqueria el rinconsito is open until 1am and it's basically a taco truck with a storefront, but it's 1-2 miles east of the downtown core.

The show is at the Maydenbauer Center and we are staying at the Courtyard Marriot, so that is why I thought maybe Kobe, any other yummy places semi-close to that area open maybe even till 12AM?

If location is paramount, then Kobe is probably what you're looking at.

Pearl next to the Hyatt has happy hour until midnight. It's an expense account kind of place. But as you've discovered - there's not much night life in Bellevue.

John Howie Steak in the Bravern does a late HH on Friday nights from 10 - 12. They definitely have meaty, cheesy etc on the menu and the prices are not bad.

The OP's weekend in Bellevue has already passed. I hope she will let us know where she dined during the visit, and her impressions of the experiences.

              2. Update, well my event didn't get over until 11:15 so Kobe was out, and I really didn't want John Howie or something like that, and I actually found a Korean BBQ place that was open until midnight! Blue Ginger Korean Grill and Sushi was nice enough to fire up the grill at 11:30PM and I got a delicious meat meal late night, check it out!

I was just there 2 nights ago, and it looks like we ordered the exact same things. I haven't been there in over 10 years.

The warped grill (shown in your pic) bothered me. I kept dropping meat through the wide openings. I thought it was a stylistic cue on the grill, but then I was told it was just damaged from the heat.

...glad you found late night food that met your needs. I hope that 13 Coins likewise worked out for the airport departure breakfast.
