We have a bday dinner and am tired of Italian and sushi and need a place with parking that doesn't cost a fortune.. Yep this is a tall order. Any ideas?

If you're ok with a bar & grill, Peppercorn's in Park Ridge.

Not a bad idea. I used to go a lot, and haven't been there in maybe almost two years, but the last few times I went I remember it being "eh" or "so-so".

Would some people say the Porter House "costs a fortune" -- although that's a relative term. If everyone is ordering steak, perhaps, but they have a good variety menu.

Wonderful food, chef, and atmosphere. All works together. Small town, big parking lot. Quaint area. Old 76 House, Tappan.

What about Hibatchi. We love it for birthdays because it is good for a group and fun.
There is a good one in Saddle Brook called Matsuya.
