Holy Chuck. Great Burgers to be had in The Bridge

I noticed this tweet over the weekend:

"Rumor has it we're opening in Woodbridge w drive-thru! Its TRUE! See you all there! And thnx to all r supporters who made this possible!"

Further investigation has shown they plan on a July 1 opening at 7 & Pine Valley

I'm not sure it's any closer for me but at least it gives me an option.

On November 1st Holy Chuck tweeted that the Vaughan location would be opening in a week. Hopefully... long wait.

They've been tweeting that they're going to be opening in a few weeks for the last several months, so I'll believe it when I see it.

Well, they are finally, actually open -- I was there and saw it with my own eyes. I'd give it a couple of weeks for the crowds to die down and for them to work out the kinks, assuming you value your time. I think I waited about an hour between ordering and my burger being ready, and there were *long* stretches in which nothing was coming out of the kitchen. It was probably my own fault for going on their first day, but it was frustrating nonetheless.

The burger, I should note, was just as good as ever.

            Glad to hear it.
My sister is dying to go there.

      2. My boyfriend went to the Woodbridge location today. It was his 1st time ever @ HC, and he was thoroughly impressed! He got there @ around 11:30 and there were only a couple of people in front of him, although the guy behind the counter said that within the next 1/2 hour there would be a line up out the door. He said that the service was great and he received his order really quickly.

He ordered the HC burger and poutine and said that the burger was probably one of the best burgers he's ever had. He also said that the gravy on the poutine was off the hook.

His only complaint was the price. For the burger, the poutine, and a drink, the bill came to $22, which he thought was a little expensive.

Ya, it aint cheap but would you rather have Starveys at 3/4 the price or HC?? I don't mind paying a bit more for much better.

        2. I tried it on a friday afternoon. Arrived at 1:15pm - waited 15 mins just to take my order, then 30 mins for my order to be ready. Burger was great, but don't go if you are in a rush.
