Dim Sum at the Sea Harbour

And moving along, I have found that the Sea Harbour (recently relocated) is posting its menus on line. Has anyone sampled the dim sum there recently? And if so, with what results?

I would be grateful as well if anyone has "new find" dim sum recommendations in Vancouver or Richmond.

  1. I don't get out for dimsum as much as I'd like, so I'm gunshy about new places and rely heavily on Interwebs gossip re this. Too many bad reports about the new Sea Harbour for me to risk it, alas. Did have a fine dimsum meal at Golden Paramount back in Feb though (a number of CHs attended) and could recommend it. Very small, resos required.

    1. Not been to the newly re-located SH so I can't comment.

SH At their old location (#3 Rd) was pretty good but I found the ambiance simply too loud and crowded. Like Grayelf, I don't get out for DS much and rarely do I even get to pick the venue, as they're usually organized by other family members who hold more seniority (figuratively and literally) than I. But I should note I rather like Red Star (both locations Richmond & Vancouver), Rainflower (#3 Rd/Capstan Way), Shiang Garden (#3 Rd) and Top Gun J&C (McKim Way) as consistent and reliable midrange Cantonese dim sum restos.
