Aldi - Exton PA - I didn't even know they were there!

I just happened to pass by the other day because it's close to where my mom lives. I never read or heard anything about it, and I don't know if it's worth my while to stop in and shop a bit. Should I? And, if so, what's the attraction? I've never shopped at Aldi.

Definitely stop by if you are interested in saving money on your groceries. They are not a full service store (bring you own box / bags & cash), carrying primarily house brands and the more generic fresh fruits & vegetables, but at typically very good quality. They are are typically cheaper than other grocers, usually with equal to better quality (especially vs. Walmart and Stop & Shop).

We find Aldies a good 2x/mo stop to pick up the basic stuff - milk, eggs, select salad dressings, lettuce, strawberries, pineapples, cookies, candy, nuts, carrots, bananas, etc.

We've found their store brands to be typically equal to better than traditional brands (but not always) - at a much better price. Oddly, we've not found their meats to be much cheaper than the traditional grocers, but have found their meat quality to be superior.
