I've ordered from Garagiste for 3 years now -- Vouvray, Riesling, Rhone, & Savoie in particular. Some terrific wines which I otherwise wouldn't have come across. Only a couple of duds. And I bought a Grand Cru Burgundy (as mystery wine) for just more than half what I might have paid.

Not for several years. Too many better options out there with more interesting wines.

Garagiste? I purchase from them occasionlly, but only wines I'm already familiar with and only because I'm local (don't need them shipped.) Usually vouvray, muscadet, Champagne...

The mystery wines are a mystery for a reason, and a lot of the cheaper, unknown bottles are plonk.

Also, I recommend scrolling right to the bottom of the email to see what the wine is and ignoring all of Rimmerman's hyperbole.
