Coffee in Savannah

Do any of you have a recommendation for a place for a good espresso/latte in Savannah? I'll be staying downtown - is that the same as the historic district?

  1. Perc is a terrific coffee roaster that I learned about when I visited Savannah last year. They are in the starlite district but if you can find out who uses their beans, that would probably be a good bet.

    1. They are pretty much the same. Technically, the Historic District extends southward from the river to Gwinnett St. Atmospherically, it extends a little further south. Broughton St. is the main shopping street and would be viewed as the hub of downtown. Good coffee choice there is the Coffee Fox, an extension of the Foxy Loxy coffee shop just north of 37th St.
