Flaky Tart

I haven't been there in a bit; went on the weekend and got one of these---it's lovely! Flaky tart has never done a bad pie in my experience but chocolate cream from them is different than the usual fruit pie. While I prefer a chocolate cookie crust, it's very good.

I love Flaky Tart! I've never had a bad experience there. Just wish they were open on Sundays.

Me too! I can only get there on weekends so 1/2 days is not enough.

Whoa, wait -- Madeleine is doing a chocolate cream pie?! I need one of those. Though the chocolate cream pie from The Pie Plate in Niagara-on-the-Lake is one of my favourite foods. Highly recommend you try it if you're ever in the area. :)

It's a really good thing that The Flaky Tart and The Pie Plate are not in the same town. I would be so screwed.

And for kwass -- Flaky Tart used to open on Sundays in the summer months, so might want to see if they're planning on doing that again this year.

I rarely get to N on the L but I will keep that in mind nonetheless.

I'm a huge fan of FT. They have some of the best baking in the city.
