I noticed in my email this morning, I had this deal from TravelZoo:

http://www.travelzoo.com/ca/local-dea...

Might be a good chance for those meaning to try?
I am not sure how good of a deal it is because I have eaten crab at a restaurant probably once in my whole life.

I do love Edible Canada tho -- just wanted to share :)

That's no deal-the Crab is almost certainly from a can or previously frozen.

With the wording "fresh", I would be pretty disappointed if that were the case. Maybe I will call and inquire.

Here is the item on their current spring dinner menu.

I doubt it. With fresh crab @ $3-4/lb? wholesale thats no more than around $15 worth of crab for $69. Enough mark up to pay for the labour of shucking it....

It's a good deal if you hate the labour of shucking. I find the process enjoyable though, in a Vogon-y way.

I bet that crab would pair well with some Ol' Janx spirit
