Can anyone recommend cheap NYC source for a good wedding cake for Manhattan wedding?

What would you consider "cheap"? A lot of the cost of wedding cakes is dependent on the size and detail of the cake since the charge is usually based on a cost per slice that could vary anywhere from $4-15 depending on how much work the cake requires

"Cheap" was the wrong word, clearly. We are looking for a simple but tasteful and tasty cake. I haven't heard of any place charging as low as $4/slice. If we could find a nice cake for $5/slice, serving 180, that would be great.

Momofuku's four-tier cake is $575 and serves 140, if you don't mind something that looks a little non-traditional but tastes delicious.

yes, this cake was one of the tastier wedding cakes I've tasted. But it certainly isn't for everyone.

Will definitely look into Momofuku. Thanks, both who recommended it.
