Austin area get together

The original message is down the board a ways, but I've proposed that the Austin area feed should be in early January at Curra's. Feedback?

Since we work and live in Houston, we'll have to pass on a "school night". Ya'll have fun!

Sounds good, though I'll note that the South location of Curra's is usually cramfull of customers. Hopefully they take reservations. Or we can try the North branch.

Just to throw a date out there - Thursday, January 10.

Thursday the 10th sounds good to me. I went to the new Nuevo Leon on the east side the other night and it was pretty good-- I think they take reservations too. It is big enough to seat us all together. Thoughts?

The 10th is out for me, how about the 9th or 11th. I prefer Curra's north, but have never been to Nuevo Leon and would be happy to try some place new.

I probably won't be able to make it either the 10th or 11th though the 12th, maybe.

Either Curra's is fine with me.

How about the 9th?

Nuevo Leon is good tex-mex, but I was thinking that Curra's has many of the standards along with a much more diverse menu. Where else can you get an avocado margarita? As for the date, does the ninth work all around? What about a weekend night?

Curra's sounds great. I've been to the north location a couple times now, and it seems as good as the original. 9th no good for me (softball night), nor is the 12th (have to be out of town that weekend). All other dates fine.

As for the date -- I'd say we go for a weekday on the basis the kitchen is likely to be less overwhelmed. Looking back through the posts, no one date is good for everyone. The 9th seems the most consistent.

Rob -- because we don't want to cut you out, can we schedule a meeting time around your softball that day? Either before or after (a later meeting time would probably work better overall).
