Success with homemade Atlantic Beach Pie??

After spending a few years in North Carolina I had the occasion to partake of this delight. Strangely I do not like Key Lime Pie but do love Atlantic Beach Pie: not sure why. Has anyone ever made this at home and been able to produce a good result? Seems simple enough.

    1. It's basic enough, if you've ever made key lime pie. The filling is the basic key lime filling off the back of the juice bottle - eggs, condensed milk, lime juice. You can use lime juice, lemon juice, or a combination of the two. The crust is the difference. It is a crumb crust made from saltine crackers.
