    Dunno, but if you are willing to go a little further west to Burlington, there is a great spot called The Purple Heather. They also have entertainment on weekends.

      Not that I've discovered. Most pubs have discovered that their customers will accept something that part-time youngsters can heat and serve. So why waste money on a competent cook?

      Graydon in Streetsville proclaims itself to be one but soon after opening seemed to give up any semblance of effort to deliver what the menu promises.

      Likewise Lionheart started strongly but soon decided mediocre fare and indifferent service was good enough.

          It's not a classic pub setting, but Union Social at 401 and Mississauga Road. More of a bistro, but perhaps the closest thing in Mississauga as far as a gastro pub goes. Their menu goes above the standard pub fare.
