@ $1/lb, that would still have left Harry Chapin with 16,000 lbs in Scranton Pennsylvania...

An ambitious plan to create a global shortage and manipulate the worldwide Nutella commodity price. A shameless Goldfinger- inspired wannabee.

            Hershey, PA 10 April 2013

In food news, the PA Health Department and the NTSB have seized an un-inspected factory discovered behind an unregistered landing strip.

The site appeared ready to go into full production, but there were no workers present when the DoH arrived.

The warehouse contained only vats of partially hydrogenated palm oil and bags labeled "Dixie" filled with an indeterminate white powder.
The DoH plans to ask the DEA to test the powder.

On site were thousands of empty jars, bottling equipment, a labeling machine, and a roll of preprinted with
"Caution: for Americans Only" and "JIF Hazlenut."
