Ontario Artisan food companies

Hi everyone,
I am working on an event, and looking for your suggestions of food companies that are Canadian/Ontario based but have a number of different category products in their line. I don't want massive corporations like Kraft. But the idea is they need to sell/ product multiple types of foods (ie. not a company that ONLY makes cheese). Thank you so much!

Abbey

      1. Don't know if you've ever been to Kurtz Orchards? They are based in Niagara-on-the-Lake and make a large line of delicious edibles that they make from their own produce. They also have a store in Bayview Village Mall at Bayview and Sheppard. The stores carry products from other companies, too, but the majority of products are their own.

Kurtz Orchards has a retail store downtown Oakville now too. They had a previous "temp" location downtown Oakville so I think the location you find via a google search is the old location. The new location is in the same building as Suvai Indian food.

BTW, recommend you check out the Green Living show this weekend if you get a chance, a lot of local food producers among the other "green" stuff. Various ways to get in for free (e-waste, Live Green member, etc)

Another one I just thought of is Neil Brothers. They make nacho chips, salsa, popcorn, etc. They usually have a big booth at the Green Living show: http://www.nealbrothersfoods.com/page...

Yes! Neal brothers were at the top of my list- they're a great example of what I'm looking for. Thanks for the suggestion on the green living - will definitely try to check them out.
