Had a really great meal there this Saturday. My husband and I split one entree and a bunch of small plates. Portions were huge! Everything we ate was fantastic but the standout was their signature Lobster and Waffles entree. Probably the tastiest composed lobster dish I've ever tried. Each of the small plates we sampled (clams poutine, mussels in a beer broth and oyster pan roast) were incredible as well. I do wish we ordered something a bit lighter too to counteract all the heavy sauces. Nola also offers a locally sourced beer list and some interesting cocktails. Can't wait to go back and try more. I did expect to like the place since Chef Kardos was stellar at Harvest Supper and the Whelk previously, but it's really nice to have my expectations confirmed. There are a lot of sub-par restaurants in FFC so it's exciting when you actually find a really good one! Keep up the good work, Chef!
