Great Small Restaurant For Pupusas

I found a great small quiet restaurant that makes the yummiest pupusas. The place is called, "El Cuscatleco"..........It's located at, 29 Garrett Rd Upper Darby, PA 19082........There hours of business are, 7 days a week 9:00 am - 10:00 pm Sunday thru Thursday 9:00 am - 11:00 pm Friday and Saturday........There number to order if not dinning in is, (484) 461-5425.......The pupusas are $2.50 a piece........It's one block over from 69th street. The only negative thing I can say about this place is it took a little long . I called in a order 20 min before I got there and when I got there I had to wait 20 min more......but the wait was so worth it......This place has a variety of Spanish things on their menu from Mexican dishes to Salvadorian dishes and hondorian dishes as well.......Girl at front desk was very nice and worked fast but kitchen was little understaffed I think.....I rate the pupusa place a 10 in taste and a 6 for how quick the food was brought out to me. I told my friends about this place and they are all excited to go and eat there. It's hard to find a pupusas place nearby unless you live in NJ or NY......Very happy and cant wait to eat my beloved pupusas again.......happy eatings folks...:)

+1 for El Cuscatleco, well worth a trip. However, make sure you read the hours of enforcement on the parking meters - they tend to run late and the meter maids will ticket you!

Thanks for the headsup! I'm in the area often, and frankly, I'm spoiled at the amount of good food in the area, but I'll make room for pupusas!

But I'm pretty sure Mexican and Salvadorian food isn't really "Spanish" ;)
