Any dinner groups or supper clubs in Salt Lake area looking for new members?

I'm newish to the area and looking for a way to meet new chow-minded friends. Any ideas?

    Not sure if this is the type of event you are interested in, but SLC Mixers by the SLC Foodie blog puts on some dinners, classes and tastings that are focused on local products.

      That's out of my price range, like the restaurant ones, which is why I'm looking for home cooks, but thanks

      You might want to try looking on meetup.com. I've found a number of dinner groups here in Colorado on there.

        All I could find on meetup were groups to go out to eat, and I was hoping for adventurous home cooks

          Yeah I tried to find that here in Denver too... all I found was a mommy group where they get together to make freezer meals :-/
