Can I attach a scan of a menu to a post...

I think I might have asked this in the past but if I did, I didn't print out the response and can't find it in the hundreds (thousands ?) of posts in Site Talk.

Is there a way to attach a scan to a post? Tks...

  1. Click to Upload a photo (10 MB limit)
  1. Can't you just attach It like you do a photo? Using the little box just below the "reply" box.

Well I guess so. I'll try doing the rest of the menu to see if it's legible...

    1. The first one is a .jpeg. I'm going to try a .pdf. That didn't work so I guess they have to be .jpeg files.

        In Adobe reader
        Open your pdf
In the size scaling box set the size at 100%
In the edit menu click "take a Snapshot"
Use the cursor to highlight the area you want to copy
(You will get a message "The selected area has been copied")
Open any newer "paint" or image program (works with MS Paint)
Under the the programs edit menu click paste.

Your PDF should show in the image pane and you can save it as a jpg or png (MSpaint options)

Note that the max size for posted images is 520 pixels width by 390 pixels height, so you may need to "snapshot" a few sections to get something that will be legible when posted.
