New Hampshirites traveling to/dining in ATL
We'll be in ATL/ Roswell in a few weeks for a wedding, and we're looking for dining suggestions while we're there for 4 days.
We're not looking for the high-end fancy places. We love breweries/brewpubs, diners, pizzerias and hole-in-the-wall places that tourists don't know about. We'd also love to try some signature ATL foods - whatever they may be!
Thanks in advance for the suggestions!
You'll get better and more helpful suggestions if you can provide more detail about where you are staying, where you are looking to eat, do you have a car, how far you are willing to travel, etc. "Atlanta" is a huge metro area that can take 2 hours to drive across.
I suggest you do a search on here for "Buford Highway", "Buckhead" and "Decatur" you will find of suggestions for those 3 areas, which contain some of the best eats in the ATL area.
antica pizza is very good--- bench tables--can be crowded and noisy--but very good pizza. Village pizza in chamblee would be easier to get to--and they have seaparet rooms for people with kids
If you likeChinese Gu's Bistro is the place its szechuan, not fancy, family run place.Canton house on buford highway is very good dim sum
Closer to Roswell is La Petite Maison a country french spot, again family run--if its nice you can sit outside
Fancy diner is Buckhead diner--excellent food
