Is this the place time forgot? Challah French toast, eggs, hot oat meal, etc.

I don't eat that stuff, but I know that Premier Diner in Commack is known for its oatmeal concoction. And challah French toast:

Had a great dinner salad there recently.

i dont know if i have been to a diner on long island that didn't have challah french toast. which does not make me happy, i much rather have white bread french toast.

I'm not overall one for French toast (or pancakes, etc.), but if I do so, I prefer challah--but over that, something really interesting like Scratchbread's Bourbon Wheat.

I never eat French toast, but challah was the gold standard when I did!

I'm not a fan of what they call 'brioche' these days, and French toast made with this 'brioche' ain't much better.
FWIW, challah French toast requested 'double dipped' doesn't get a good reaction from most servers I've come to realize...

jpf1980, they also have "old fashion" French toast as well!
