Sunday Brunch (Mother's Day)

I usually visit Surrey's on my way out of town, but have that planned for a different day this trip. I don't like to deal with the quarter on my way out, and wanted to stay away from Mother's Day Jazz Brunch ordeals since I want to get on the road at a decent time. I am looking for something with easy to deal with street parking, and delicious casual food along the lines of Surrey's. I am staying in the Marigny and location is no concern as long as I don't have to walk back into the quarter.

What about Elizabeth's, in Bywater? Don't know if they are doing a Mother's Day brunch, but the normal breakfasts there are extravagant and wonderfully tasty. Never have room for desserts, though the Red Velvet Cake always looked good. We love this little place - so does everybody else - so go early.
