Fast breakfast near Windsor court?

We are not big sit down breakfast folks. Prefer to send husband out to bring back bagels and coffee to room which we eat while showering and dressing. Any place close by the Windsor court to do that? Thanks!

Mother's is open for breakfast, can't get much closer.
I agree that the breakfast at the hotel is usually excellent.

The Ruby Slipper is a three minute walk around the corner. The coffee (at least at the Marigny location) is drinkable and they apparently make their bagels in house (though I've never had one, so I can't attest to quality). Mind you, the place is a shitshow on the weekends, but takeout might not be too bad.

Thanks! Perfect suggestion. Ate there last two mornings(no take out on weekends) and it was good, fast and not expensive.

Fabulous, I'm glad that worked out. I myself ate at the R.S.'s Marigny spot yesterday -- blackberry pancakes with lemon curd. There was nothing wrong with that.

Respectfully, this seems more like a question for the hotel concierge than for Chowhound,

          You are probably correct there.

Having stayed there, and also close by, we always opted for the breakfast at the Windsor Court (not fast, but always good), even passing on our VIP Lounge Continental Breakfast at the Hilton, in favor of paying $ for a very good one, with great service - but not "fast."

I cannot think of any that I know (do not know Ruby Slipper), but then I was always looking for other things.

Maybe a Starbucks, or similar? Also check out in-room dining at the Windsor.
