reasonably priced great food and ambiance

My kids are coming to town (kids aged 30) and I only get to take them out to one dinner this time. They like just about anything as do I, but I really like anything that meets the "reasonably priced, great food and ambiance" test. Can you give me a little help in deciding where to take them? I live north central and don't mind driving a little.

  1. Jack Allen kitchen in Round rock or if coming from out of Texas I'd go for ze tejas

    1. In the North Central area... I'd suggest Black Star Co-op. Good food at decent prices, and excellent handcrafted beers. Sit on the patio while the weather's nice.

      1. I'd suggest Contigo or Justine's for places that are a lot of fun and meet your requirements. Both (esp Contigo) are better when the weather's nice and you can sit outside. Either is resonably priced; Contigo wins for food and Justine's wins for ambiance, but I don't think you can really go wrong with either.

PS I'm around your kids' age (33) if my demographic info helps, haha...
