Similar to Box of Joe but not from Dunkin Donuts?

I am supposed to bring coffee to a brunch tomorrow (for many people), and I am wondering if people know of any local/independent coffee places that do a box-of-joe type deal. (I will go to Dunkin Donuts if I have to, but I would rather avoid it.) I vaguely remember seeing a box-of-coffee option at an independent place near me, but now I can't remember which.

I live in Porter Square and will be bringing the coffee to a party in Coolidge Corner, so anything in along my possible driving route could work: Porter/Davis/Harvard/Central/Inman/Allston/Brookline.

Thanks so much!

Have you checked with Simon's Coffee Shop right there in Porter Square? They would be a massive improvement over DD.

What did Simon's say? Curious how this works out.

He is able to do carafes but not a box of joe type set up. He was super nice but I think I am going to go with diesel for ease. Only $11.75!

Wow, considering that a small cup of coffee at Diesel is $2 or so, that's a terrific price. I'll keep that in mind!

Give Verna's donuts a call. Not far from porter on the left heading to arlington. 2344 mass ave.

Diesel in Davis does it. More $ than DD but totally worth it!

Maybe this is what I was thinking of. Perfect. Thank you!

I like Starbucks. There's one in Coolidge Corner. Call them to say you want a traveler so it'll be ready for you. If you hate Starbucks there's Peets on the same block and I hear they have a box of coffee also.

Kupel's bakery on Harvard St, just a few blocks down from Coolidge Corner, sells coffee by the cardboard tub. Can't vouch for the quality though, I'm not a coffee drinker. I do like their bagels.

Edit: Oops, just noticed the date on this. Never mind.
