Former Lime chef, Masa Kudo now at Blue Water
After Lime and Japanese Kitchen closed, he moved back to Japan thinking he would stay forever. He got married and decided to come back to Vancouver. He is now at Blue Water where he worked prior to opening Lime. (He was chef at Tojo prior to that, fyi).
Anyways - I know a bunch of you wanted to know where is ended up. One of the best sushi chefs in Vancouver.
Well 4 of us descended on Blue Water last night and we all made gluttons of ourselves. Sushi, oysters, foie gras were shared for starters. Then we moved on to tuna, arctic char, halibut, and scallops & prawns with risotto.
Everything was absolutely incredible. Service was also bang on.
Easily my favourite restaurant in Vancouver!
