Boy this was put together quickly! The show is Chef Wanted
with Anne Burrell.

  1. Oh dear, it would be fun to record this. Must make sure it doesn't interfere with Project Runway. Lulu would not be pleased. Thanks for letting us know.

I don't have cable so you can give me a full report!

      Love the new avatar!

I ended up finding it on a few hours later, so recorded that. Thanks again for the tip.

        Lulu in her Easter bonnet!

    2. it did seem more rushed. end of viewer editorial.

Interesting. Will i understand more of what you mean when I see the show?

        1. re: LulusMom

if you've watched others, the editing seemed a bit uh different. and not for the reveal or anything just the entire pacing. (I didn't watch the credits, I'm not that weird)

          1. re: hill food

I'm on the e-mail list for that restaurant group. IIRC it was just a month or so ago that they sent notice of being closed for a day or so for filming. I have very little experience with the film industry, but it seems a quick turn-around time.

      2. Lulu and I have just finished watching this (and many other things - it was basically a lazy, lie in bed and cuddle watching cooking/food shows kind of morning). I'd never seen the show before so I have no idea how it was different in terms of being or seeming rushed. I have a couple of questions that maybe meatn3 might be able to answer (given the newsletter). Where is their new venture going to be? Will it be another French type place? And when will this new chef start?

I feel *sure* that I've seen Pippa on some other show.

Neither their website or newsletters have mentioned it as far as I can tell. To be honest I don't always read my restaurant news letters carefully when I'm busy with other things...

          1. re: meatn3

Laughing! I had to get rid of most of my newsletters (and magazines ...) for exactly that reason. I'd love to know the answers if there is anyone out there who knows them.

          2. re: LulusMom

I've seen Pippa before too - I think on Chopped.

            1. re: Jeanne

That makes sense. I don't watch Chopped often, but i've seen it enough that I may have seen her. Thanks for jogging my memory.

How was the show? I'm not an Ann Burrell fan, but would watch a local restaurant episode. She just annoys me

                1. re: veganhater

Not having ever seen the show before I can't really compare it to any other version. It was just fun for me to see a place I've been. I did spend a lot of time being fascinated by AB's hair.

                  1. re: veganhater

I am a fan of Anne, based on her regular cooking show and Iron Chef.

However, I do not care for this show at all, there is all the reality show forced drama and a lot of yelling. Watched it a couple of episodes and won't bother anymore.

            2. Maybe I should just email Coquette ... if I do, and hear back from them, I will let you know the answers.
