Lincoln with Kids?

Hi Everyone,

My brother and sister-in-law are coming to town, along with my 3 1/2 year old and 3 month year old niece.

I want to make a reservation for Friday or Saturday for us, along with some friends, and was thinking Lincoln might be a good idea. My niece (the 3 year old) is very good in restaurants and the baby pretty much will just sit there. I was just wondering if Lincoln is child-friendly if we make an early reservation (6:30pm or so)? I've only been there later in the evening and have never seen kids there but the menu seems pretty family-friendly.

Thanks!

  1. This might be a late answer for you, but we went to Lincoln last night and I think it would be okay with kids because it was extremely LOUD! Even if the baby cried or 3 year old had a meltdown, nobody would notice! We had to scream at each other to hear - very unpleasant.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant - food was blah and overpriced and there are too many other much better options nearby.

We ended up going to Chef Geoff's (which is great with kids). I called the restaurant and while they said they were more than happy to try to accomodate us, they made of point of stating they were an "adult restaurant." I just didn't want to take the chance with both the baby and the 3 year old. I don't have kids of my own but if I did I could see taking them to a place like Lincoln---but then again I would likely take my kids to most restaurants that are not super high end.
