We are going to the Nashville zoo this Friday and looking for someplace nearby (10 miles or so) for lunch or better yet carry out that we can eat at the zoo. Also we are staying in La Vergne if anyone has suggestions for dinner near there. Thanks a lot

We are huge fans of Erbil Kabob. The white bean soup is divine!

That's a pretty large area with many options. In the immediate area of the zoo, less than 2 miles away is El Tapatio. I would suggest getting a whole chicken if you're feeding a large family.

There's also Baja Burrito across from 100 Oaks which is probably 3-4 miles away from the zoo.

What type of cuisine and price point are you looking for?

There's just 3 of us, inc a 5 year old. We love ethnic cuisine and a good burger. As far as price point goes, less than $30 for the meal.

        Thanks for your help

Gabby's near the Greer Stadium will be a great choice for an inexpensive and tasty burger. Check out their hours before you go.
