We are from Austin TX and will be in Fairhope AL for a wedding next month. We are looking for one foodie dinner and one lunch in the area. Any price point is fine, but we would prefer places that will take a reservation or have very little wait for early seating. We will have a car, as well as a 4 year old, and would love suggestions on where to eat. Our daughter is not a picky eater so a kids menu is not necessary. Is the Grand Hotel worth a visit for lunch? We wont make it for Sunday brunch as we have an early flight. Thanks!

  1. In Fairhope - Camellia Cafe (grilled artichoke, steak tar tar, yum!) or The Wash House (leg of lamb, mmmmmm) are excellent for dinner. Both are great & yes, make a reservation for either.

In Daphne - My Cousin Vinny's for lunch.

The Grand Hotel - though it is beautiful, IMHO a little overrated and over priced.
