Alden's Ice Cream!

If you're looking for a good Philly-style ice cream give Alden's a try.

While I love a good thick custardy ice cream sometimes you just want something a bit lighter and cleaner on the palate.

Alden's is one of the few, maybe only, commercial store-bought ice creams that replicates a good Philly-style ice cream without being icy or watery.

I got it at Whole Foods, which I don't really consider a "Health Food" store. A "Pricey Food" store, maybe, but not necessarily "Health Food" ...

Haha. No WF around here...closest one about 35 miles away.

I did a search on the Alden website. It only showed up in two "natural food" stores closeby. Looks good though.
