Hey Hounds!

I need suggestions for a group of 10-15 adults. Would love Mexican or Mediterranean cuisine, but are open to other options. Looking to stay under $20 per person including drinks, taxes, tips. This is for this weekend on Saturday or Sunday night. (4/6 or 4/7).

Thanks for your help!

By "drinks", do you mean alcoholic beverages? If so, $20 is going to be virtually impossible.

No, I was referring to non alcoholic drinks.

I think one of your only choices is something like Emilio's Tapas and keep your eye on what's going on. not much to be had for $20 these days. even an italian beef, fries and a coke is $8. You could try Reza's but the minute you start ordering combination kebob's it's going to be way over $20. For fun you could go to Pasadita on Ashland, the restaurant (versus taco stand) could probably help you. It's got no ambience but the food's pretty good.

For inexpensive Mexican, Nuevo Leon in Pilsen continues to serve good traditional Mexican food, with entrees in the $10-12 range. www.nuevoleonrestaurant26.com

I prefer contemporary Mexican cuisine, at places like Mexique and Mixteco Grill, but they are more expensive and you won't hit your target price.

        And there's always deep-dish at Lou Malnati's, Pizano's, etc.
