roast chicken: pan drippings

Sat out all night at room temp. Can I still use to make a gravy?

        I wouldn't throw good ingredients in to get a bad result, toss it.

          If you're asking if can you still use it safely, absolutely not.

            Yes. You're going to be heating it WAY up (boiling-equivalent) to make the gravy. But, hey, I live in a "magic house."

              The method of making gravy will not kill bacterial toxins.

                To each his/her own. And that's assuming there ARE any toxins. I've never been sickened. Have you?

                  I have. Someone here said it best--at first you're worried you're going to die and then you feel so bad you almost wish you would. My parents' friend had a dinner party where everyone got sick (every one) and some ended up in the ER. I'll take chances with myself but not others. I'd never forgive myself if I served food that had been sitting out too long. I think of it like driving w/out a seatbelt. Many do, we'd most likely be fine. I still ask people to buckle up in my car.
