Instead of Terra in St Helena which I was really looking forward to,I will be in Healdsburg. Was sad to see Cyrus was closed which would have been my choice. Now I'm trying to decide between, Willi's, Zin, Bistro Ralph, Barndiva and Scopa. What are thoughts on these or is there someplace else I should try?

  1. Scopa, Barndiva, Zin, Bistro Ralph then Willi's. Been to all of them in the last year and 1/2 or so. I would have put BR above Zin and maybe Barndiva but our lunch there late last summer was disappointing. Never been that thrilled at Willi's. I'd also consider Spoon Bar, too. I wouldn't over look Dry Creek Kitchen, either.

When in Healdsburg Dry Creek Kitchen and Scopa are always on our list.

    1. I have had hit-or-miss meals at Dry Creek Kitchen but have always had exceptional meals at Barn Diva.

Willi's and Zin has been holding up consistently for years.

Scopa and Willie's are almost always getting their Michelin stars, which says a lot to some.

      1. Mateo's Cocina Latina is my choice in Healdsburg:

High quality, very locally sourced (check out their farms and purveyors list) , innovative, excellent bar and wine. Casual but pleasant, especially the patio in nice weather.

        1. Note that neither Willi's nor Scopa have Michelin stars. If Michelin is important to you, Madrona Manor in Healdsburg has one star. Dry Creek Kitchen had a star and lost it.

Here's a link to a couple reports on Willi's Seafood & Raw Bar.

Michelin stars not important to us. My better half is leaning toward Zin but I am leaning to Bistro or BD. I think anyone of those will be lovely. Thanks for all the suggestions!

          2. Zin has wonderful food and great ambiance...
