Looking for an early breakfast Easter Sunday by Sante Fe train station.

  • 4

Title says it all. I have a two hour layover between trains and would love to get some breakfast during that time. I am looking for a place that is open at 5:00 or 6:00 am. I know it is a tall order given that it is a holiday. It needs to be in walking distance too.

I am pretty open, breakfast burritos, tacos, dim sum, biscuits and gravy, etc. are all ok. I just need a respite before I meet up with family at Legoland.

  1. I'd think something would be open that early in the Grand Hyatt, a high rise 5 star hotel that's a ten minute walk due south from the train station. If nothing else it would be a comfortable place for coffee and to hang out for an hour or two.

    1. I've forgotten the name of the "coffee shop" in the Hard Rock hotel. Simple trolley ride there and back. But I don't know if they're open. So.

      I don't know the name.
      I don't know the hours.
      Not really walkable.

      So, never mind.

          Mary Jane's..

I would hit up the Westin San Diego 400 Broadway, a couple of blocks from the depot..
They have a couple of cafes that open at 6am and 6:30am.
