Luce and Hawkins without Luce

EricMM Mar 28, 2013 09:17 AM

I've read that Luce has left his restaurant at the Jed. Hawkins Inn. Any word on how the restaurant is now? It's one of my favorite NF restaurants.

I heard that the restaurant is now closed. Not sure if it's true. Can anyone confirm?

Their website is up, with not only a menu, but an Easter menu. Says its open Thurs-Sunday.

Have you tried the Jamesport Manor Inn? Of the two places I like Jamesport better.

We go there often and LOVE the food. People are great too. Don't hesitate going.

It's musical chairs out there! Lia Fallon, ex Amarelle / Wading River, is now executive chef at Jedediah. It's open. Keith Luce and partners have taken over the buildings at Stirling Square in Greenport, including North Fork Oyster Co, and plan to open restaurant, tasting room, etc. etc.

Just ate there tonight. It's still just as good as before, and actually a little lower in price...not much, but definitely less expensive. We shared the inn salad and the roasted beets. My daughter had the duck breast, my wife the seared scallops, and I had the enormous and filling lobster pot pie, which was loaded with lobster. An excellent meal!
