Help - Where can I find a "Skin On' Boneless Pork Shoulder in

North Dallas?

Tried Ye Olde Butcher Shop in Plano and they don't carry - he did not have suggestions on where to find.

Wanting to make a Porchetta for Easter.

  1. Call up Nathan and Ellen Melson at Sloans Creek Heritage Meats. For something like porcetta and wanting skin on I would be concerned about where the hog is coming from. I met Nathan through Slow Food Dallas and fell in love with his products and his farm. Very nice and genuine person. I believe he still makes CSA drops in Frisco.

Thanks for the reco Lewisville. Link does not work though, and I tried their facebook page.....looks dead.

Also tried Hirsch's meats. They can get but I need a week leadtime, which kills Thanksgiving.

Going to Ranch 99 tomorrow in the AM.....on a lark,

Well, not maybe a lark, I have bought pork belly there to make bacon, and for pork belly could work.

If not, Rack of Lamb it is.....

Ok sorry about that masnole. Try Local Yocal market in McKinney then. They carry the Sloans Creek pork products. They might also help you with your other needs.

No worries. I appreciate the offer of assistance. Simply wanted you to know that the site was down.

So....for what it's worth, I was able to get them to cut me a 6LB one at Ranch 99 Market.
