Guiseppe's On 28th Street - Phoenix
Any one tried this restaurant?
Basic Italian, not bad but nothing to go out of the way for. They do have good specials on occasion though. nice friendly little place, kinda cozy.
When Guiseppe's first opened, it was a sweet spot. Different types of resh pasta paired with the diner's choice of 6 or 8 sauces was a novel concept. It was a small, neighborhood place with a personal vibe, especially since the owner was often on site. After the DDD show aired, everything changed, not for the better. I am sorry to see this happen; we have not been back for several years and have no plans to return.
