Red Medicine shames no-shows on twitter

So much for social networking being good for business.
All the Twittering does is create buzz for trash tv. This story was all over the news broadcasts tonight. Good press, bad press...it doesn't even matter anymore.

Customers take to their Twitter page to rate a restaurant experience all the time. Now an owner turns the tables and outs no shows...you'all (RM & the no-shows) deserve each other.

Shame? How, in the name of all that's sane, is bailing on a restaurant reservation shameful? It would take an awfully poor sense of self to find that kind of petty revenge shaming.

Read the thread linked here, and you will die laughing. Seems to me the restaurant owners and patrons have a lot in common LOL

LMAO thanks for reminding me of yet another reason I'm so glad I left L.A.

What? Someone didn't show up for their precious reservation? Quelle Horreur.

I know absolutely nothing about this restaurant but after reading that article and another about outing a food critic AND kicking her out, it sounds like the owner is a defensive, egomaniacal mental midget.

We hammered on the issue over on the LA board and you can see the opinions (and fur) fly here: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/895781

No need to insult little people now ;) but I definitely won't be visiting that place.
