Mother's Day brunch Westside to Hollywood

PD Girl Mar 26, 2013 06:42 PM

I am looking for some suggestions for Mothers's Day brunch. We have two kids and six people total. In the past three years we have done Joe's, Red O and Fig & Olive. I want interesting food and nice surroundings. Price is not a major concern.

Tavern offers a lovely ambiance, good food and a nice children's menu. Gjelina is another option, but please request the patio. Something on the menu to suit everyone.Service is a bit scattered but food is great.

There have been some good reports on the new Littlefork in Hollywood. We haven't been but I note that they serve brunch on Saturdays and Sundays http://www.littleforkla.com/

We did the patio at Domincks (on Beverly) last year for Mother's Day Brunch and we liked it so much, we'll probably do it again this year.

If you are willing to travel a little farther Saddle Peak Lodge in Malibu Canyon has my favorite brunch in Los Angeles.

I am also a fan of The Scarpetta brunch buffet in Beverly Hills. Expensive.
