Gluten-free Passover matzoh and crackers - I'd eat this stuff anytime (and I'm not even celiac)!
In the last few years, I've noticed a growing proliferation of gluten-free items for Passover. This year, the variety was triple what I saw last year. I'm just fine with gluten but some in my family aren't and based on the quality of last year's gluten free matzoh, I decided to try a few items this year. Gotta say - I'm impressed!
Yehuda brand gluten free matzo could easily be a year-round grocery item for me - lighter and crispier and way better tasting than regular matzoh with a perfect little hit of salt. The toasted onion flavour is delish - so good warmed in the oven with melted cheese. I also tried some toasted onion crackers from "absolutely gluten free" and garlic flavoured gluten-free flats called "crispits" from Paskesz. I believe that all of these items are from Israel. At the Thornhill Sobeys this year, I noticed a bunch more gluten-free items. I don't know of the year-round availability but for those looking for any combination of gluten-free, kosher, kosher for Passover and/or just plain tasty cracker breads, I'd definitely recommend these products.
