malt powders for baking
I'm looking for both diastatic and nondiastatic malt powder in the GTA. Does anyone carry these or is online the only source?
I don't know about the diastatic variety, but any store that caters to homebrewers _will_ have dried malt extract (and a well stocked one would even have the diastatic variety, or be able to order it for you).
And any market that caters to a Korean clientele...especially places like H-Mart... will likely have malted barley flour. Not the same as the powdered malt extract, but still useful in baking.
