Brooklyn Dogs - San Diego

Anyone been or heard any feedback? I have a coworker asking about it. It's around 8th and C downtown.
I eat there a while ago and the thing that I remember most was that the knishes were frozen and then defrosted in the microwave, which really annoys me. I believe they used boar's head cold cuts and made a good sandwich, though. They had some specials like pork chops or chicken w/ rice that I did not try. Given that the place was decked out w/ yankees gear (boo!) and a Puerto Rican flag, the entrees may have been the way to go.
I went the other day because the colors were so bright and I was curious. The dogs are normal boiled dogs. Nothing too remarkable. They have lots of Mexican food too. I ordered the fish tacos. They gave us fresh chips while we were waiting. But the fish tacos were very unremarkable. I wouldn't do it again.
