One Blowout with Babies

Four adults and two babies (one 3 months, another 9 months) are planning to go to northern spain this summer. In general, we're looking forward to casual lunches and wandering tapas dinners. We were wondering, however, whether anyone had thoughts about the feasibility of bringing the kids for one blowout meal when we are in San Sebastian. The question for the crowd is whether any of the big boppers (Mugaritz, Arzak, etc.) have the kind of outdoor space that might allow for sleeping kids at lunch time. If not any of these, what about Extebarri in Axpe? I know it's a farmhouse in a tiny town - is there any hope that it's a relaxed enough place to go with non-verbal babies?

The ancillary question to this, if the consensus is that we're being unrealistic, is whether folks have ideas about particular casual gems - particularly in small towns along the Basque, Asturian, and Galician coasts, where we can eat well and comfortably with kids. I know from living in Bilbao that kids are well loved in Spain, but I simply can't remember what the restaurant protocols with kids are.

Thanks in advance.

We are in the same boat and was curious how your trip turned out. We will be traveling to SS in a couple months and was hoping to do a trip to Extebarri with 15 month old.
