Nagoya's 'Kawabun' kaiseki dinner @ Greenwich Grill

Greenwich Grill has guest chef from ryotei 'Kawabun (河文,' of Nagoya, Japan between Mar.10 and Mar 23.

Full dinner costs $90 and half course $55 (plus tax and gratuity).

Overall, it was really a satisfying experience here in New York, where authentic kaiseki restaurants are scarce compared to relatively abundant sushi places.

      They do have a Japanese chef there who was at Tribeca Cafe ( now closed) who cooked in a Michelin Starred restaurant in Tuscany. So their regular menu of pastas and grilled fish etc is very good.

        im actually having dinner there in two weeks for a rehearsal dinner for a wedding
